Well its big that’s for sure but does it pack a punch as Apple launch their tablet computer the iPad.It seems the iPad has almost none of the wow-factor of Apple’s previous launches, the iPhone and iPod – devices that undoubtably changed the way the world communicated.
The iPad is, as predicted, essentially a giant iPod Touch: aluminum-backed, half-inch thin, with a 10-inch screen surrounded by a shiny black border. At the bottom, there’s the standard iPod/iPhone connector and a single Home button. It will be available in models ranging from $499 (16 gigs of memory, Wi-Fi) to $830 (64 gigs of memory, Wi-Fi and 3G cellular).
The iPad, however, has a much bigger chip inside, called the A4. It runs at 1 GHz, compared with the 0.6 GHz chip that powers the iPhone 3GS.
Will it be a hit only time will tell but what do you think of it? see the video below
